Our Story: Athena & Anthony

It all began in 2017, when Athena and Anthony swiped right on Tinder, unknowingly starting a journey that would change their lives forever. For Anthony, it was Athena’s beauty and the fact that she didn’t live too far that caught his attention. For Athena, it was Anthony’s handsome smile—but what really made her swipe right was his quirky bio that simply read, “Art thou feeling it now, Mr. Krabs?” It was the perfect mix of humor and charm, and it immediately sparked a connection.

Whether it was a weekend getaway or trying out the latest food trends, Athena and Anthony always found joy in the little things. Their bond grew deeper in the quiet moments too, like binge-watching their favorite shows together. From thrilling anime marathons to late-night basketball games, every moment was another piece of the puzzle that brought them closer. It wasn’t just about the fun adventures they shared. What they loved most about their relationship was the way they could always make each other laugh, no matter the situation (especially when roasting each other). They encouraged one another to be the best versions of themselves, motivating each other through life’s challenges and celebrating each other’s wins.

When 2021 arrived, their love story reached a new chapter as they welcomed their beautiful curly-headed daughter, Azula Margarita, into the world. She is truly the perfect combination of their love, adding even more joy, laughter, and purpose to their journey. While, life looks a little different with a toddler running around, Athena & Anthony still find ways to enjoy all of their favorite things together, adding Bluey to their watch list, Mac 'n' Cheese to the weekly menu and walks to the playground to their definition of romance.

The following year, they made another dream come true: purchasing their first home together. This milestone marked the beginning of a new adventure—a place where their growing family could create lasting memories. From dancing to Disney songs in their living room with Azula, to (forcibly) taking Anthony's homemade ginger shots, Athena and Anthony have managed to make their most expensive bill, into their favorite place to spend Friday night (and every other night too).

As Athena and Anthony look toward the future, they’re filled with excitement not only for their wedding day but for the countless moments of love, adventure, laughter, and growth that lie ahead. Their story is just beginning, and they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who matter most.
